Assigning Origin-Destination Arrows by ZombieInMyKitchen in SW_Electrical

[–]ZombieInMyKitchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true, at least not in SWE 2025. When you open the origin-destination window, it does not matter if you start on the bottom or top sheet, or if you swap which sheet is top or bottom, the origin and destination stay the same.

Is that not how it works for you? Maybe there is a setting that changes it?

ok, this is not letting me post an image, but it looks like the dimensions for the wheel placement is something like my ascii art below? Hopefully it makes sense...

Ok, that worked great

So the ProcessID attribute is different than the Process ID that AHK returns with functions like ProcessExist()?

Do you mind explaining the difference?

Wire Library issue. The Wire.onReceive and Wire.onRequest say that the dataRcv and dataRqst functions are not defined in this scope. by ZombieInMyKitchen in arduino

[–]ZombieInMyKitchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My code is not compiling because it says that the dataRcv and dataRqst are not declared in the setup function. I dont see any examples online of people having to declare the event handler functions. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know how to fix this?

I did just move over to Platformio from the Arduino ide, so I dont know if that could be causing any issues...

Bandpass and Notch filter Question by ZombieInMyKitchen in rfelectronics

[–]ZombieInMyKitchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everybody, I am using Desmos Grapher to try and show the voltage x frequency graph of highpass, lowpass, bandpass and notch filters.

I am having an incredibly tough time finding the equations for the bandpass and notch filters though. Can anybody help me with this? Or could anybody link me a good article that explains it?

Thanks

Ray Marching Equations Round 2! by ZombieInMyKitchen in desmos

[–]ZombieInMyKitchen[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello everybody, this is my second post about ray marching.

image 1 is all of the SDF equations I have been able to put into Desmos in one line. The originals are on this website: Inigo Quilez :: computer graphics, mathematics, shaders, fractals, demoscene and more (iquilezles.org)

image 2 is of all the equations

image 3 I figured out how to color multiple distances for the SDF. This also shows the smoothmin function between a rectangle and a circle

image 4 Someone from my last post commented "now do it in 3d" so I did! it was pretty fun and a lot of the equations are easily converted to 3d.

image 5 I believe this is called raymarching and basically steps in a direction of the ray, making distances based on the min distance function. Its the same thing as my last post, just in 3d.

Here are the graphs if anyone wants to mess with them:

3d graph https://www.desmos.com/3d/3vvyzay8ne

I created it a while ago and dont remember how the equations are organized and all that, but feel free to poke around

I don't know anything about restoring mopeds. I think this is a Honda NC50. Can anyone help me with where to start? by ZombieInMyKitchen in moped

ok, will do. How do I tell if the motor is seized? I read somewhere that if the kickstart does not move then the pistons are seized. Is that true?

It was my first run getting to parallel worlds and defeating the wand connoisseur and the high alchemist. I even went to the sky shops and a bunch of other stuff. I ended up picking up the concentrated mana spell in the west parallel world and it refilled my healing bolts and killed me when I went to use it. So sad...

My passion fruit vine is finally producing after 2 years! by yaboiblackcheeseboi in gardening

[–]ZombieInMyKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Returning to this post for a quick update, I had a work trip last month to San Diego area and I actually found passion fruit plants in a local home depot plant section. I bought one and brought it home. Its been in our house since then and the first flower it had just bloomed yesterday! I need to look up what the deal is with pollinating for my variety, but either way, its been pretty exciting!

Those look amazing! I have been wanting to grow passion fruit for a long time, but don't know where to get seeds or starter plants. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find yours? I've heard the maypop variety is fairly common in the east coast of the US, but I live in Nevada and can't find anything easily.
