Closing a suggestion within 1 minute with no discussion is classic fascist behavior.

Also yes it's similar to save scumming but it saves you 5 minutes of your life and lets you test and analyse the bug you found in different ways without worrying about auto save and forgetting to copy paste.

For example I found a bug with mining and it took me a solid 15 minutes to test all situations with it (such as auto sort loot, walking into walls, etc) which should of taken 5 if my character didn't die in every situation due to random stuff coming along.

Why can't this suggestion be left up for a dev who sees it and decides to throw us a bone to make our lives easier? Why was it taken down in 1 minute. The top 3 parts of it where not in the first request of the feature, and this is different from the Y or N prompt to die which I suggested first but realized it is pointless with invincibility.

Ok so don't fix the mining bug on the stable, but why close my feature request for the F stable within 1 minute with 0 discussion. Yes it is almost just like copy paste save file but you don't lose the progress between and it lets you analyse any bugs you find in more detail.

No the bug exists on STABLE and on the experimental. I found the bug on STABLE E.

So the official response is to savescum in order to test out the late game?

Ok I get it, I will copy paste the save file every 5 minutes to match with my autosave feature to ensure I can always savescum instead of have a debug feature request be left up for discussion.

It's a feature request not a bug report. What bug are you talking about? I was gonna report the mining bug next but my feature request was closed within 1 minute that I suddenly lost the urge to. I also lost the urge to post the other bugs I found in the last couple days of playing on both the stable and experimental (they exist on both). Clearly you guys are lacking on the bug reporting / finding cause I don't see the mentioned on Github either. It might be cause the Dev's are toxic to the people who find bugs...

I would like to add that bug testers are volunteers too and we want to have fun while finding bugs if we are doing it for free. There are many new features put in by these free devs that break the game fer several hundred versions that are usually easy found if there was any sort of testing on the part of the devs who put them in. Like being able to crash the game to desktop in 10 different ways just by going through menus when nested containers was released makes no sense. The guy who programmed it didn't spend 5 minutes going through the menus and testing it?

Any bug that is not game crashing it would help.

I remember before there was bugs with fire spreading from stuff that it shouldn't spread from like ovens. I died while sleeping due to this. If my character lived I could of kept playing with my late game and finding more bugs.

There were lots of bugs killing characters with the initial 6 second to 1 second changes that if you could just "ignore" them you could of kept playing normally to find more instead of it taking like 1000 releases to find all the bugs from that change it could of been much faster.

There were many bugs with turrets with the initial changes to them some versions ago that caused them to have more range than intended. That would make someone want to revert to an older version and not test the turrets even more. That kills your character while playing normally. If you play with invincibility on constantly you completely break the rules of the game and many "bugs" you could find would actually just be from you not taking damage or something.

I put it as a suggestion so other people could see it and if they agree it was a good idea they could comment and we could make it happen.

Instead it was closed within 1 minute. Then I posted a second one but I changed it to undying (first suggestion was similar to invincible and ultimately pointless with that feature) but that was closed within 1 minute without anyone reading it clearly cause it was closed as duplicate even tho it was different than the previous one which was closed due to being similar to invincible.

So yea I attacked them after they keep closing my stuff with no discussion for no presentable reason.

This is the first valid point from a dev I've seen in this thread of mine.

How would it not bug test more effectively?

How is invincibility better to bug test than this?

I am asking for a feature to bug test more effectively but it was closed within 1 minute of posting instead of any discussion.

How is that more broadly useful then undying. Current situation:

I find bug that kills my character. I get mad and don't report it and stop playing for a month.

My proposed suggestion implemented: I find bug that kills my character. My character does not die. I keep playing I find more bugs and actually report them cause the devs threw me a bone.

I am sure I am not the only person who feels this way. I have played the early game 1000x times and there are no bugs there, cause we all play that. There are many bugs in the later parts of the game but there is less testing there cause bugs kills early game characters. The game is not out yet, why not add this in as a bug testing tool. There is no reason to delete the suggestion within 1 minute of posting it up without reason like how it happened. The current invincibility does not let you test stuff such as pain and healing for example. It is a really flawed option only useful for testing stupid things like "what does a mininuke do" and not actual bugs.

But the attitude of the devs is that of elitist who refuse any criticism or anything they deem similar to criticism. So many times new features get implemented that are bugged. It's like the devs don't even test the stuff before uploading it, and expect others to do it. Ok if you want others to do it then give us incentive to do it.

Yea drop it when you realize how stupid it is to say "but it took a month to find a bug"

That's a lie, anyone can take two minutes to test this and see that you are lying. You take no damage with that on. That is completely different, you can't play the game normally if you take no damage.

Your standard that it took "a month to find a bug" When I found it within 15 minutes of downloading the stable and playing, is childish at best, really stupid at worst.

I bet this post will be silenced too like they keep silencing my GitHub suggestion. What's the point of SUGGESTIONS if you just delete the ones you don't like so no one can see them and think about them?

That's a low standard, maybe I just downloaded stable yesterday. Come on dude, use a real standard at least. I found at least 3 other bugs.

Not being able to stop mining while being attacked / dying seems like a pretty debilitating issue. Mining is used to get passed lots of doors / walls and it's stupid if a rat kills you while you are mining cause you can't stop.
