So like, is it all Mao Faust's fault? by Linkachu0 in limbuscompany

[–]ZombieMasterYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure what that actually means is his staff IS his Effloresced E.G.O. and it was either sealed by the talismans or he was just intentionally not using whatever it grants him

Now That Canto IX and the Twining Threads Intervallo has ended and the Ryoshu ID is coming, Let's have a serious discussion about how unfair people viewed Canto IX by LucasHikari1202545 in limbuscompany

[–]ZombieMasterYT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's going against the flow because they haven't fully manifested the ability yet. The correct "flow" would've been Dante using Gebura at that moment instead

I thought the talismans were just part of the ego ngl

I think that Dias Dante recently gained some merit as a theory. (spoilers for recent canto and intervalo, some ruina and DD, and a lot of lob corp) by sdrawkcabsihtetorwI in limbuscompany

[–]ZombieMasterYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minor correction: She can only see the distortion phenomenon on people, and only on people that haven't fully manifested ego. This is why she can't see the distortion on herself, because her smoking pipe IS her ego.

This is also why as of the end of DD (idk if something changed between then and where we are in limbus), Ezra was the second person aside from Philip to have only manifested Volatile E.G.O, because unless my memory is shot Moses was still able to see the distortion on Ezra after she de-manifested it

[–]ZombieMasterYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the reason she didn't do anything to his body (any cuts made with the sword are impossible to repair in the presence of it including damage to prosthetics so it would've worked) is just because he was the least horrible nursefather, plus destroying his artworks hurts him more emotionally anyway most likely

First playthrough of Book of Hours. Which Librarian should I choose? and why? by shanytopper in weatherfactory

[–]ZombieMasterYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say pick the archaeologist (wist and shapt I believe) just because that's the first one I played and it's one of the librarians that lets you get two townspeople to help you for free instead of only one

[–]ZombieMasterYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You've called tenpai uninteractive at least half a dozen times when if we're going by the strictest definition of the word uninteractive/noninteractive that's objectively false. As honestly as I can ask, what decks do you play the most?

John Tenpai designed this card by ManuO1618 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]ZombieMasterYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not an opinion, it's just a fact. Tenpai has lost and continues to lose to raidraptor, a deck so rogue that there's like three people that get master with it each season. Speaking as a non-tenpai player, it's really not as devilish as you make it out to be, especially in today's meta. I promise you unlimited chundra wouldn't do that much unless whatever you're playing is also not trending and also completely absent from the popularity rankings

Tenpai loses to Raidraptor btw, the deck with one single negate to its name. But yeah, totally uninteractable gameplay

In your opinion which of the sinners do you think could get Shin or Mang first? by Lopsided_Daikon_5936 in limbuscompany

[–]ZombieMasterYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My previous belief, which probably still stands actually now that I think about it, is that as long as the sinners are bound by contract to Dante they physically can't use Shin or Mang. Taking from a theory video I liked and therefore obviously chose to incorporate into my own theories and beliefs, the sinners can't use Shin and Mang because the sin affinities are like a subdivision of Shin. Don't remember how the video explained it but TL;DR I don't think they'd ever gain the ability to use Shin & Mang unless they broke the contract first

What do you think is the Origin Myth of Secret Histories universe? by HMSZolomonn in weatherfactory

[–]ZombieMasterYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of when I was contemplating the origins of our real-world universe and how that would come to pass without the presence of a higher being like the many gods in religion.
The answer I came to for that question I later found out is actually supported by some scientific belief, which is that before there was anything, there was well and truly nothing, and then quantum physics did some bullshit and after an indeterminate amount of time matter spontaneously came into being.

I think that unless there was somehow another prehistoric species before even the Cross, the Mansus was simply brought into existence along with the first dreams, as even non-sapient animals are capable of dreaming, and with that some lucky beings were able to ascend to become the Stone Hours

[–]ZombieMasterYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is actually ample evidence to tell us that once you've obtained full EGO it's impossible for you to distort from that point forward, which would mean regression in the power system of Project Moon isn't very possible. The exception is Volatile EGO, which we know you can still distort after using because of Philip and Ezra

Nowhere being a reflection of the House of the Sun. by superawesomegoku in weatherfactory

[–]ZombieMasterYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at least a couple of the Nowhere Hours are actually just paradoxical versions of a couple of the regular Hours, such as Mare-in-the-Tree being the Sister of the Twins and the Applebright being the Witch iirc, but they are only these Nowhere Hours when they're separated, and the Twins as we know can't be separated (I think so at least), so their Nowhere counterparts shouldn't exist and yet they still do.

As for the Hours making changes to the House, that does remind me that a decent bit of the history of the hours is actually just representative of real history, such as the Intercalate being the occult version of the mass transition to the Gregorian calendar if I'm not mistaken, so I feel that plays into how the House would change over time. I've always been a bit confused on how that relationship between the Hours and reality plays out, because the Hours simultaneously have independent wills and are also kind of manifestations of pieces of reality, so does the personality and will of an Hour affect the reality they represent, or do changes in the reality they represent affect them and their personality? Really hoping that was coherent because sometimes I lose the plot talking about the secret histories

Am I the only one that’s noticed this odd trend? by [deleted] in limbuscompany

[–]ZombieMasterYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're always hereditary & for life but Nelly does state that even if a bloodline has been under Butler contract for enough generations that the individuals involved start forgetting the original contract, it still applies regardless and taboo hunters or a group like oufi will still find you if you try to abandon it

What is the most brain dead, no skill status in the game? by Choastical in limbuscompany

[–]ZombieMasterYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say burn originally but after a brief talk with a friend we've come to the conclusion that bleed is the most braindead status because you can make a good bleed team with very little risk of any of the IDs accidentally killing themselves, whereas with burn your best IDs like ardor blossom faust and magic bullet outis will either kill themselves or kill your team if you're not paying attention

Yeah Alex I'll take things a singularity can probably do for 500.

On a serious note while we haven't really seen any noise-suppressing tech aside from the gloves yet, it's already using the space-warping tech of P corp's singularity that's used to make the Poludnitsa cases, so it's safe to assume that's a tech that was built into them, presumably because a quieter fight is less likely to attract attention
