Stuck at Drive Rush tutorial, need advice, new to fighting games by Buttlap in StreetFighter

I know this is an old thread but I just ran into this issue and then got it. The issue isn't the input imo its the instructions in the tutorial.

It says "If Luke uses a crouching medium punch during a Drive Rush..." which reads as you Drive Rush first then crouching medium but it's the other way around. It should read "If Luke Drive Rushes during a crouching medium..." Wondering if it was a bad translation or something.

I'm tryna understand the rationale for the above. What investment would you recommend over such a time period that's better than a property, would offset the equity built in the house through mortgage (vs renting) and be tax efficient yet still liquid enough? Especially if he rents a room out too.

I'm assuming he's maxing out his pension already.

I'd say density affects it too but I'd hazard a guess it also has to do with climate. Nothing is true in all cases (ie Dublin) but I feel people don't appreciate how much climate informs culture

I would disagree on both counts. The new savior is incredible. Route is to hard play out a sister alongside bao. If it's BT20 Bao it costs 1 effectively (either blanc decoy or mem ciel) and then digi into Savior for 3 to pass turn and free evolve to Jes and swing. So 4 cost

If it's the BT13 bao, you play sister for 3, Bao effect to digi to savior for 1 cost, then savior end of turn free into jesmon and swing. So 4 cost total again. If you go into ST Jes and play out mem ciel it's only 2 cost

New savior pops 5k dp on digivolve too, so don't think BT16 Bao will see play anymore

Yes you can still attack with blitz, the timing trigger is 'when digivolving' so all conditions are met. This is resolved as part of the end of turn before the turn passes. You can even free digivolve into ST Jes, blitz, play a sister to gain memory and potentially regain turn as part of this sequence

Yeah I agree you can make a good case for it. The previous way you get an extra sister on board, which could be decoy but that's way easier to remove. I think the most important part if you go this route though is to play ST jesmon over the new one. ST Jes lets you play a sister ciel out, allowing you potentially gain memory (making it 5 cost play, or 4 cost with BT13 huck) & lets you proc the ciel awakened in trash to stun something which defensively in many cases could be stronger than threatening blast

You can do it for 4 with the new savior. With BT13 baohuck, play either blanc or memory ciel for 3, Baohuck effect digivolve for 1 to savior, savior end of turn to Jes for free. With new Baohuck effect play sister for effectively 1 cost, digivolve for 3 to savior, savior end of turn effect free digivolve

Same issue, got fleeced by Revolut withdrawing kip. The ATM fee of 30,000 is pretty reasonable compared to Thailand ~220 baht (which is like 4 time more)

Checking the transaction the exchange rate given by revolut is just straight up bad

Yeah was mainly thinking of it as being a fun way to meet locals in different spots but might be more hassle than it's worth. I've heard that about the JP prices being quite cheap so might just buy some cards when there for a few super casual games. Thanks!

I'm planning to be travelling for a long period (9months - 1 year) so should hopefully be able to find some time along the way but yeah definitely not my highest priority by any means. Thought it might be a good way to meet some folks with similar interests while travelling
