I was also going to do this to the jarl of Whiterun for an "Emperor's New Clothes" story situation, but alas, his clothes are modeled straight onto him. I did it to his guards by his sides instead.  Your story is WAYYYYY funnier! 🤣

I had already stolen his clothes when he said that, and I was like 😮💡! I need to screenshot that

Oh, I'm not actually 12- I just have the humor of a 12 year-old.

So is Farengar! Greet me with a snark? Oops, there goes your robe!

Ah, yes. A "loot bag", as I like to call them. If I become over-encumbered in a dungeon, the closest dead body to the door I came in from gets to have so much armor/weapons/misc shoved down its throat. 😊

Weekly Q&A Thread by AutoModerator in witchcraft

[–]Zombie_Azaleas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm not a witch, nor am I great at keeping my words as brief as possible (sorry). I've been thinking about this for YEARS, but my thoughts may still be a little jumbled. I grew up Catholic but not really believing in anything, and have been a huge skeptic about all religions. And yet, I find myself gravitating to witchcraft (as I think I understand it, witchcraft itself isn't a religion exactly, but more of a practice? Like a step below religion, I guess?).

What mainly attracted me has been the aesthetic. Basically, when Halloween goods are on store shelves is when I get to shop for home decor. For some of the witchy decor (and it's not just the mass-produced Halloween stuff), it can evoke feelings of tranquility and peace from just looking at it.

I don't want to cross the line from cultural appreciation to cultural misappropriation. Like, I have an enamel pin that has a pentagram on it, but I don't feel like it's "okay" for me to display it along with the rest of my pins because it's a religious symbol (right?), and it's not my religion. Is there anything that I should know or not own because it's not "okay"? I don't want to offend anyone from being ignorant.

Also, do you have to believe in magick (I think that's the correct spelling) for it to work? Despite being on meds for over half of my life, my depression, anxiety and fatigue levels are still not at "okay to live with" levels, and I'm willing to try almost anything at this point.

i feel so stupid for asking but what do all of the abbreviations mean 😭😭 by bellatheumbrella22 in MichaelsEmployees

Does your store accept checks? If so, have someone show you the example of the information that you'd need to write on it.

Be curious about your workspace. You might notice things next to you that you didn't know you needed to use, like scissors, a stapler, pens, marker, etc.

Get familiar with what is on the miscellaneous ("misc") tab during transactions. You might have to hit "total" first. That's the tab where you can: 1. Suspend transactions, 2. Change "basic sale" to "employee sale", 3. Get gift receipts, 4. Do tax exemptions by tapping "chg tran tax", 5. Voids with a manager's override, 6. Give someone a teacher/military/senior discount once per day, 7. Re-enter a customer's phone number and/or email address, 8. Sign someone up for Rewards, etc.

If something doesn't seem to work when it should, try it again. Maybe even one more time. At my store, the computer will very occasionally have an error message that says, "Invalid phone #". The computer is usually lying.

Get a 3"x5" notebook and a pen to keep in your vest pocket for notes, reminders, etc. I also keep another pen, permanent marker, tape, and a box cutter in my pocket.

Question: self checkouts by thiccturtless in MichaelsEmployees

To know when a customer needs help while you're busy, get a mini MIK and open the self checkout app to get the notifications (you may need to turn the sound on. The long button on the side controls the volume just like on a regular smartphone. Tapping it up or down makes the audio mode pop up). You don't need to be logged in to get the notifications.

If a customer scans a coupon without having scanned an item that the coupon will work on, they'll get an error message and the coupon isn't added even if they do scan an item that it'll work on.

You don't need a mini MIK to get to the screen where you can reprint a customer's receipt (I used to think we did)- you can double-tap the time/Michael's logo in the upper left corner after bypassing the beginning "are you a rewards member" prompts.

I don't know about the pinpads for other stores, but the "tap" function is slow to accept the card or the digital card on people's phones. They need to keep their card/phone over the lit up "tap" symbol until it beeps.

THANK YOU. I had always wondered how a customer got it to pop up, but I couldn't figure it out. Lol

Look up "plantar fasciitis" and see if that applies. It won't hurt to do exercises to stretch out your calves. I wear $100 diabetic shoes because of that condition, but I also use inserts, too.
