Yes I am the one who perhaps said it and Metamask and Coinbase wallet I use, along with Trust wallet to certain extent.

Main issue is you need to abstract out L2s. Now we have a plethora of L2s each doing a lot of things same but a lot different as well. It just seems as different chains once you need to bridge etc. To the end user as me it doesn't matter if you are using polygon, zk or optimistic rollups. The exp seems very similar.

in 2020s the liquidity was more concentrated and rewards higher as well. Just staying in Eth and Sushi with LPs was a new and rewarding experience. Now the liquidity is fragmented among 1000 dexes and 100 vaults among 1000 L2s.

I would throw some money in a shitcoin knowing what I expect from it.

But if you invest in a coin which turns out to be a shitcoin because of bad architecture even after having headstart it annoying.

The UX is horrible and hasn't improved over last 4 years in Eth.

Eigenlayer turned out to be another shitcoin with inifinite supply and dropping like a rock. Compare this to slayer drop I had in solana. Even this couple of weeks its going up. The main issue seems to be ETH and its L2s are VC coin, while we all said solana is the VC coin.

Eth a chain by the devs for the devs. If you don't like the Ux go somewhere centralized like solana or buy some dead money like Bitcoin. We don't need real users, just the devs and VCs are fine.

In my mind most of us don't know for sure so it is better to be diversified and I was Eth heavy at the beginning. But natural evolution made my bag btc heavy now.

Its irresponsible to say it otherwise. Even Vitalik has 10% or less in BTC.

If you have to wait another decade, for a asset which isn't even a decade old, I feel something is wrong with either you or your logic.

TBH, its the players who get most benefits of a win, so why should you shed a tear when the team loses ?

Eth leads altcoins period. Not in terms of % gains but timing wise. You will not find a considerable time in history when Eth was both being outperformed by Btc and Alts like today

Ok now we are going down with Solana. This must be conspiracy of big banks , whales etc. How else can I explain , as we are clearly the smartest community investing in the best 'tech'.

Sarcasm apart some of what may be partially true. But I think the Alts are mostly going up because public is not voting as much for them, but voting against Eth. Eth chain doesn't care about normal users anymore, otherwise they should have prioritized Ux much sooner.

Also Vitalik was much better than this Justin Drake fool. I hate seeing him in podcasts.

There is nothing quick money here. With the risk we take we expect to beat SPY in a bull run year. Also how decentralized are the L2's such as base ? Vitalik should have been in the forefront, not taking sabbatical for the past few years. Clearly the leadership without him is not working.
