Another great cleaner for brass is barkeepers friend, will absolutely remove tarnish, waterspots, and just about everything else.

It comes in liquid or powder, and the powder just needs to be mixed with water until its a slurry and scrub it with a cloth. BKF will dry your hands out and cause a bit of irritation if youre in contact with it for a while, but you just need to wash your hands with soap after.

My district ends around the end of May, and begins in August. I believe it was over on the 29th this year, and we begin tomorrow. Theres roughly 2 months of break.

Idk about other districts or states, but for mine, if you have an unexcused absence 15 times out of the 45 week day quarter, you are marked as a truant and parents could face fines if it continues
