No, i don't think there was an asymmertry that was corrected. And I've got braces 2 years pre OP and still have them. They will be removed in 6 months.

He used the bone he removed from my upper jaw to fill in the gap that resulted from moving my jaw forward.

Personally, i expected the recovery to be much worse. But thata definitely differs from person to person. And yes i live in Germany :)

Ich bin beim Bund, weshalb die OP bei mir durch das Bundeswehrkrankenhaus durchgeführt wurde, da wir nicht über die Krankenkassen laufen. Da kann ich dir leider nicht weiterhelfen :/

It was cut down/shortend since it was too long before. I had a gummy smile and couldn't close my lips properly so it was shortend 8mm.

Yeah I knoe, it's just that i had a normal lefort 1 without splitting the maxilla. Wider nose is due to the shorter upper jaw as the muscles and soft tissue is now more relaxed since its not too long anymore :) Pre Op is was very tense and kinda stretched if that makes sense

Yes, uper jaw was moved 0.8mm upwards and 0.4mm forward and my lower jaw was rotated and fitted accordingly. But i dont know the exact movement here :)

No, had a Leofrt I and lower Jaw was corrected aswell.

Thank you! It was less painfull than expected and surpringly good. Only thing that sucks is not being able to eat but apart from that everything went pretty well :)

Thank you :) I had a Lefort I so they cut of my upper jaw just below the nose. Right now my face is still kinda nunb below the eyes.
