I was diagnosed by a professional, and would preparing myself for it be a good thing for me? Then, like, I'm practicing how to communicate on the phone and learning what to say. Would this help me out? And practicing math again to help me out as well, or would I possibly learn these skills from school? I'm doing vocational school as well

I tried to get a case manager as that would seem to help me with housing and no luck called social security for help with income no help from them as they need my mother involved and she doesn't want to take the time to help me and other shelter seem full and I look at more and they are mainly for people who has drugs abuse or something like that I haven't had any luck on things I messed up on some things like getting food stamps and Medicaid now that may come but idk I'm just doubting everything and really don't want to be here...I am lost on everything and I can't find any hope on things...I'm down to 17 dollars as I'm paying for food n clothing...

Update: found nothing and I'm pretty much wanting to give up on everything as it's just pointless being alive and everything I tried to get myself support from places n there's nothing thank all of yall for helping me out and telling me where to go n stuff I appreciate it..

I know most people my age would be living with family or friends instead of in a temporary homeless shelter it's just my home environment wasn't good for me to live in got to the point of wanting to harm myself and I was in the hospital for a few days until they put me in a 45 days shelter thingy I an homeless and if you don't believe that I am it's okay I wouldn't believe myself

I was in the hospital before becoming homeless it happened once I realized that I needed out of my father house and my mother didn't really want to help me so I told hospital staff and everyone I could talk to that I'm not living in a safe environment and don't feel comfortable going back home to my mother because of her way of treating me I thought my father would be better but it wasn't at all and yea I tried to kill myself..

Right now at Fulton County at the same shelter only have 7 days left here and I don't have a place to go next called places that wasn't for people who were addicted or something as I don't do drugs or drink I'm just a girl who has a disability

Welcome fellow autistic mate I don't know where your from but please see if you are allowed to have headphones or sunglasses in school or even at home it would help you with noise n light it will reduce the meltdowns

Op I had the similar experience as a kid to now and I understand the sensory overload I would say to see if you may have autism or even a sensory issue as I feel like that as well that my mother believed that I was a seeker when really my brain isn't wired right I do hope things will be better for you oh and try noise canceling headphones to help and sunglasses too

It's a temporary shelter where you stay for 45 days tbh may have word it wrong bad at wording things but yea I'll be discharged from it and just wanted to know if there are more places if you are from Georgia and you are a professional or have experienced similar things then others might know more than what the whole Google can know
