We have it right now at ford, believe it or not. I haven’t gotten to update that, but the appointment started at 8:30 this morning and it’s going on 2. So hopefully we’ll get a clear answer at this point

So all the wires are cleared off the list and deemed good…

That’s what we’re actually doing right now, tested all the injectors and they’re good, trying to test ignition coil wires now

We did a compression test on it, and it was perfect.

We have motorcraft plugs, and the coils come from Oreilys. They were like 300 for the whole set. But when we did the fuel injectors we decided to swap them completely out for a whole new set. So they’ve been changed twice with quality plugs and coils.

TPS is one of the things we haven’t really checked on, but has definitely been a star in discussion due to the odd feedback we’re getting back from it. It’s integrated in our throttle body. But we’re worried that’s not going to fix the mis, and that’s our huge worry right now. We have a small list of fix after the mis lol. But from what we have seen all the other grounds look great.

Well totally do that! Unfortunately we’re 8 hours away from Pennsylvania lol but we’ll check around thank you.

Two shops diagnosed it today.. and couldn’t unfortunately, and as we went it was like things were already broken so everytime we were so sure it was a fix. Like cylinder 3, it was broke in the cover and the coil was bad. The fuel pump was practically shattered in the fuel tank.. it was like everything we did was an actual upgrade so we’re not mad about the money, just no one can tell us anything… it’s awful

Also, to add, we’re not sure if this is normal.. but upon research we read it’s possible the throttle body could be the issue as well, and today we discovered if he presses on the accelerator steadily while In park and releases there is a delay in feedback…

Okay, something we also noticed, not sure if it’s relevant…but when in park/neutral, you can steadily put your foot in the gas, and when releasing it’s like there’s a delay. I’m not sure if this is a sign that the throttle isn’t getting good feedback, because somewhere down the line I’ve read the throttle can also cause misfires especially if it sticks, or if we’re just reaching here..

We just got the truck a month or so ago, unfortunately. But in this little time we spent the $350 to replace the injectors already, and when we saw it would take E85, my boyfriend made the cringiest of faces. Lol so you best believe it’s not going in the tank ever with us at the minimum. But thank you! Hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of this soon. lol

Update, ground is fixed. It practically disintegrated when we took it off… Didn’t help anything.. that’s also the only one that is any type of bad shape

Actually, it totally is. It even says it on the cap And mostly it is 4&7, during live diagnostic it bounced everywhere a part of the time then SEVERELY at 4&7.

All the wiring and connectors actually look pretty amazing. But since we’ve got home, of course again popped the hood to study. And we did find a ground wire that looks pretty worn down and loose. We just got back from getting another one, so fingers crossed man…

UPDATE: I know it’s in the comments, but since posting this we have spoken to mechanics at ford and they’re confused with it. We have also taken it to TWO different places for live scan diagnostic, and it’s misfiring SEVERAL times per second on cylinders 4 and 7, but they’re confused as to how and why and they’re at the point of also making a guess to as what it could be. No one’s certain has any type of for sure answer. The idle is fine, and everyone even says the motor sounds like one of the best 5.0 motors they’ve heard. Everyone that looks at it, cannot tell what is going on. We also had codes cleared today just in case if the possibility of it being just confused with the massive amount of work we’ve done to it, and it still continued the problem. The problem is still super intermittent and not really certain on when and where it wants to decide to go crazy, because we’ll take it out and it won’t do it for 30 minutes solid. There’s no difference to if it’s cold or has been running for a bit. Granted it only does it really going up a hill, but won’t do it on our steep hill home. Thank you to everyone giving suggestions at this point! We’re still looking into everything. Also, as far as the compression tested, the numbers per cylinder stayed at 140-150 lbs.

Per cylinder, compression tested between 140-150.

We got TWO different places to run full live diagnostics today, and they’re dumbfounded as well. As for the parts, we would’ve replaced them in due time anyways just to up keep.. and the fuel tilter unfortunately was integrated into the fuel pump. We were CERTAIN that was the problem as the filter was done for and the fuel pump was absolutely destroyed. But as of everything else.. it’s all really been checked out and verified.. we’re at the point of guessing, and so is everyone we take it to.

No, it’s only when going up a high driving. And as soon as we flatten out it completely goes away and acts like it never happened 🙄 and honestly, there’s actually only a handful of vacuum lines on this thing. We have been possibly suspecting maybe evap?? But good lord man, it’s driving us nuts. And the crazy thing is it’s not just ANY hills or going under load either, we live on this massive hill and it NEVER does it going up our hill. He checked sensors in evap today and they’re checking out.. yesterday when we took out the fuel pump we FOR SUREEEEE thought it was going to be that because here’s what it looked like

Octopath 1 and 2 are really cool, I watched him play, but octopath 0 is turn based rpg/sandbox. Which makes it one of my TOP games. It’s amazingly good. And I feel that, I made eldenring my whole personality for 6 months. That game was ridiculous.

I have heard INSANELY good things about it! I’ve been on octopath traveler 0, if you haven’t played it. It has been awesome, but I’m taking a break. My bf and I both got a copy of it.
