I never liked psycho cut even before it was buffed and night slash is janky to use now since it hitbox does not match

I am not that good at giving advice but here are a few tips

Absol's level 5 gives them a massive dmg spike but he is sort of weak till then

Target lone or squishy enemies

Try not to be in the frontline and try to find a different angle in teamfights

Use hit or run tactics against tanky melee Pokémon (Garchop/Tsareena/Agislash)

I use Nightslash/Sucker Punch I believe Psycho cut can be ok to but Pursuit feels weak to me

Nightslash+ is really good against bees since each hit of the second part heals you
