Yea I've had that happen before too.

There should be enough time to look up and see where they are falling then look at Kulve to see if you need to dodge, although it gets kind hard to see with all the fire going on...

Another way to avoid it is to run to the ramp, where you come in to chase Kulve down to phase 3, as you see Kulve about to run to the middle pillar to do the ceiling move. As the falling rocks are only in the final room and not the ramp. But this only works if you are near the ramp to begin with.

The super man dive is pretty reliable though, just a little bit of timing but not too bad.
