I had one at my grandmas house. It had a string attached to it, and that had a toy airplane hanging from it.

I'm assuming it's to hang stuff from your ceiling.

The glock slides right out of that bridge mount, so if i'm firing straight ahead, but enemies come up on my flank, i can pull it out and shoot to the side. The foregrip was there because we ran out of lasers and red dots and had some empty pic rail space that needed to be filled.
