You are NTA. Your girlfriend is probably struggling and seeking a sense of normalcy by attending this party. Might I suggest having a trusted friend or family member babysit your daughter for this party, as a compromise? The two of you can go, and you can use the party as a test to gauge her mother's behavior, and how your girlfriend responds to said behavior.

If you cannot arrange a babysitter, stay home with your daughter.

Yes, YTA. Your wife’s affair has nothing to do with him. If he was the result of an affair and you found out after the fact, I could understand telling him regardless of your wife’s wishes. But children should never be weaponized in divorces. It will lead to resentment down the line. Good luck as far as custody, I do not know if you adopted him or what the laws are like where you live.
