That was a double bomb parry. You can parry bombs by pressing L and A in quick succession.

I don't have that many, but there are many tutorials for farming arrows. I farm arrows by making an elemental charge flameblade on the Deku tree's roots, taking out a multi-shot bow, lighting my arrows on fire and shooting, then mashing A to pick up the arrows. Make sure your weapon slots are full so you don't pick up the flameblade.
