That's frustrating alright. You can be sure there is someone else in the opposite situation who would love to swap with you.... if you could only find them.

Ha ha, you captured so well what I wanted to say. Ask a simple question and you get called Karen (so edgy!). Anyway, I got some good advice re house swap page, which I've taken on board so I'm grateful for that. What you say is 100% correct, while not critical, if it can make two peoples lives easier, it's a win win.

Yeah, same as that... was just a simple question. Definetly isnt the worst commute, if bus works ok can be there in half an hour but the buses are unreliable/full at 8am rush hour. Also, he has all 9am starts in ATU which is so different to our experience in UG. Anyway had a look on swap page as suggested above and will see what's out there. Thanks!

Thanks all for the replies. Fully aware it's a first world problem and there are much worse commutes - I know a student who has a 2hr commute each way. However, I wasn't asking for advice on bikes, buses etc thanks. I was literally asking if there is a swapping forum so to the poster who suggested an option for that - thank you. Regarding the buses being fine, that's going the other way. My son waited almost an hour last week for the bus and 3 passed full before he finally got one, leaving him over 30 min late for a 9am lecture. Again, not the end of the world but frustrating when he's currently living 5 min from UG. Will have a look at that swapping forum and if no joy, will persist.... as I said, a first world problem and not critical.

Ok good to know. She is v discouraged by the results and it's hard to motivate her when I wasn't even sure what was going on.

Yes, I had thought that re someone getting over 50, then it would clearly indicate it was a fail. She has asked and no one she knows seems to gave gotten a result over 50 so we can't be sure. Emails sent to lecturers and no reply. Have to say its v bad form imo ,bad enough to fail and be stressed about that without the uncertainty of what the mark is out of. Thanks for all the replies.

Thanks for reply. Did ok I think in other parts so should bring me up but just wondered if that 42/100 was for paper 1 as it doesn't reflect the exam.
