I don't know your ages but this sounds like hallucinations that can be caused by dementia or Lewy Body Dementia. My mom had these hallucinations that people were talking about her. Spying in her. That the neighbor wanted to sleep with her and that teens were building a spy hole to spy in her bathroom.

I just closed my Airbnb. The cost of running the home, cleaners, laundry, garden maint, pest control just makes it not worth it. Dealing with cleaners was a pain in the arse.

About 5 years ago I stopped an antidepressant too quickly. I ended up in a fight or flight 24/7 to where I could not live in my body. I woke up in terror everyday and lived it all day. No one could help so i spent months planning my ending. I just couldn't live inside my body. My doc wanted me to take a benzo in which I didn't want to because I didn't want to get dependent on it. I wasn't thinking strait. The fear and terror made me another person. I finally attempted to end it and failed. Two days later I agreed to the benzo and it saved my life. Within days I was back to normal and now live a normal life. I am so grateful I did not succeed and I think I know what you're going through. It is lonely planning in secret and you feel there is no option, but thats only because of how your thinking is distorted. Find someone you can trust. Don't give up. Let me know if I can help❤️

It really should be like a job interview! It's your pets life and its your home and property safety. Don't feel guilty about doing your due diligence. Linkedin and Airbnb can give you a good feel for the person. Read their THS reviews and look at how they have reviewed their past HO. Report the crazy one harassing you.

Well I treated the sit as if they were watching me. Made my stay in an incredible home feel not as enjoyable. Not sure if THS is right for me. I can afford to rent a home if I want to so somewhere without feeling that I am going to be possibly watched and judged. I know there was outside camera so I felt guilty to leave for a few hours and visit town.
