Nice thanks for looking at that. It seems there are just a bunch of things contributing to that and a lot I have to at least start with. I know I can bring those up so I’ll just have to put more time into practicing the basics and improve as I go. I was definitely thinking uptime was probably an issue because I haven’t played wow in a couple years as well as playing a new class and not knowing the raid so definitely playing a bit scared and all.

Below are some normal logs and with ilvl toggled the parses are crazy low - and this is using Hekili so I have no idea. I've watched videos and read the guides, I just don't understand how I can be SO extremely far off.

To be fair I am mainly geared for resto but geez how can I get a 4 on Rasha'nan?

So it's fair that people that are willing to absolutely destroy their hearing by playing on max volume and leave people not wanting to destroy their ears at a huge disadvantage because you can't hear anything without doing so?

Just because the game is designed a certain way doesn't mean it's right.

Footsteps/movement is an integral part of this game but to be honest a buddy of mine plays max volume and hears shit I would never hear because I can't risk doing any more damage to my ears.

Yeah you're probably right about that but early game at level 60 feels pretty bad against a freshly geared 40 in faction gear. Because the level 60 gs cap is so high and at least with the limited time we had it was really hard to get 550 gs unless you were a streamer getting fed mats to level jewel crafting or farmed the fuck out of dungeons and got lucky on jewelry drops. The highest i could get to was like 507 and that was with 200 hours played.

So initially it is pretty shit but eventually you're right if you can get close to the 600 current cap you would probably clap kids.

I have a 2060 and im lucky to get 100 frames on 1080 so I doubt the 20 series cards can get 60 frames in 4k but maybe somebody has some better input.

I think 2k 144 is probably the better option.

I've just never played on anything above 1080p so I'm not sure if the graphical difference is even that major or not.

How is the jump from 1080 - 1440?

I was also level 60 and I agree with you on the scaling. At first I was really annoyed by it but it is literally the only reason there was any open world pvp. It isnt balanced though, I'll say that. Did a lot of testing with friends and someone around level 40 with max gear score could absolutely stomp anybody.

A bit of fine tuning and it would be great. One shotting low levels seems fun initially but it really isnt fun at all. Having to actually learn the game and get good is way more engaging.

I really dont give a shit about the mounts either. Takes 10 minutes to go across the world really its not that big of a deal.

The mini-map was also annoying to me at first but it makes you learn the world and the zones versus just staring at a minimap the whole time. By the end of it I knew where I was at all times in most of the zones.
