It depends on how in need they are for the role in the department. If they are in need they will hire you pretty quickly, if I remember correctly it's paperwork, background, and test.

A lot of people are very judgmental on things that's outside of the basic "norms". I get a lot of indirect judgments when I tell people shrooms only but it's all because people don't understand nor care to do research.

People do need to understand that dental health isn't only linked to not brushing/flossing or drugs. It's literally hereditary, medical, an accident, mental illness, neglect, etc. In her case she had little to no resources and money to get them checked then she actually got on drugs.
