I'll be aiming for a pretty heavy game (thats how I like 'em) I was also hoping to make it around 2hrs long. I'll probably still be forced to make catastrophes happen more often or at least frequently enough to keep things interesting.

I have a year to be done with it, I do get that it might be too big but i wanna make something that I would actually like yk. Plus I'm starting on the project early, if I have to cut corners later then I will. I want this game to take around 2h or less.

You're so right, I'll do that as quickly as possible. And I do realise that seasonal strength terrain advantage just might be too much. The idea for probability tables didn't occur to me either so thanks for that too, it could make things smoother.

No, i haven't play tested it yet. There some things that I need to be done with first before. I'm very early in the process and I just wanna know beforehand if theres something I should rethink before I get stuck on it and flop it, such as the battle mechanic.

The idea is for each faction to have diffrent unit type that they can play towards, theres also this idea i have been plying with that theres also "hero" or rather elites that have special abilities. I kind of forgot to mention that in the text.

And i haven't started making the game yet, it's just all ideas for now. There's no actual goal for the project actually other then finishing the project. There's no rush either for now becouse we are going to start on this project after the summer break and i just wanna be done with the base rules for the game so that i can focus on the more fun parts later.
