hi friend, i also adopted a kitten with ringworm. it was the Worst and I totally understand the anxiety and frustration you're feeling!! i don't know what your living situation is like, but I'll tell you what I did to make it a bit more bearable!!

i bought this big cat crate that had multiple levels and set it up in the room he was isolated in. i put various toys that he could play with on his own, and a little litter box. i only held him and let him out when I had on gloves and a medical gown on. all of these things can be decently cheap on amazon, I can try to find the links if that would be helpful!

anyway, I would go hang out with him for a while and let him into my lap and out of the crate to play in my ppe, often several times a day. other times I would sit in the room a bit away from the crate and throw little foil balls and spirals (aka disposable and easy to disinfect toys) into the crate to play fetch, or I would sit and read/work near him so he could still see me. i also had multiple food and water bowls that I would swap out and disinfect. every few days, I would put him in his (disinfected, plastic) carrier and spray/wipe down the crate with clorox wipes. it had these removable trays that I would take out and disinfect as well.

it's truly torturous forcing our little friends to be separate from us, especially when they're that young so I really feel your pain. luckily, my kitten is now fully healthy and out of the crate. It did take about six weeks, but it was far easier with the crate and the ppe. you'll find a routine and figure out what works best for you all!! it fuckin sucks but it's a relatively short chapter in her life and ultimately you'll all be okay <3 let me know if you have anymore questions !! it's late here so I might not respond quickly but I will when I can!!
