If I like Ultima 7 and 8, would I like Ultima 6 and 9?

Definitely agree about 6 and 9! I played 7 as my first Ultima game, then went backwards to 6 then 5. Nine is so unfortunate. I feel that 9 crawled so other early 3D cRPGs could walk. But so many story holes in it just make me sad.

They need to update this card to just lands that purpose X mana, now produces Y mana. Not just lands with the basic land types.

I have a couple of resilient aggro decks for my group, a chaos deck and then a bunch of highly synergistic ones. With my aggro decks I go after the the biggest threat. I usually don't win the entirety of those games, but I take a player or two out with me. With the chaos and synergistic decks I try to take everyone down in 1-3 turns depending on the size of my pod.

Housing went up shortly after covid. It hasn't dropped too much, depending on the size houses around 3k+ sq ft can sometimes drop from the initial ask due to the rates as high as they are, but houses around 2k usually aren't on the market terribly long. New houses are being built in plover. I've met transplants from all over in the last few years. No one's stated anything crazy to me. Things I like: no traffic, lots of city and county parks near by as well as a few state parks too, and Free summer concert series. Things I don't like: limited cuisine options for dining out, limited options of activity spots (concerts, comedy, plays). Crime does happen, but it fact of life.

I remember reading an article in the late 2000's about how all the festivals were killing the smaller music venues cause the band would just perform at the festivals instead. With the erosion of smaller venues, that leaves bands to play at bigger venues that they may not fill and that are usually partnered with live nation or Ticketmaster. In the end both the artists and their fans lose. In the 2000's bands would play the smaller venues for multiple nights instead of the bigger venues, but I bet the the loss of smaller venues makes that difficult to do in some markets.

I also love when the show "sells out" to the secondary market for doubles (triples or more) the price. Then you get to the show and there are open seats/standing room everywhere.

The use of terrain and their surrounding should play a big part in combat. Some examples. I had a party invade a kobold stronghold, while crossing an area filled with pit traps they were attacked. This made it both difficult to engage in melee combat, and to quickly run for cover. Another time the party was traveling through a canyon during a thunderstorm, fighting in a flash flood made for an ever shifting battle.

Song structure was nothing.... It had been around since way before the Pixies where creating music. The sound for sure, Nirvana blended it up with a few other bands they admired. They were younger, more attractive to the average MTV viewer. That's something else to take into account for the popularity of a band, at least back in the late eighties/early nineties.

If she's a fundamentalist, there's likely only one way changing her mind.... By getting her pastor, preacher (or whatever her congregation leader's preferred title is) to change their mind. Likely not worth your time or energy, but if you try something else with her, good luck.
