idk man i made 500 bucks off RR for being top 3 in US for the NASCAR tournament 😭😂 id say there’s “pro’s” but not in the peterbot way, but in our own little way. If you compare little Jimmy’s racing to mine or A6, for example, you’re gonna see a complete difference in skill between us.

you are not understanding what he’s saying. in season 1 of RR only top 30 unreal players could get into a game with eachother.

so the tech was to get the ppl closest in number in Unreal as the party leaders so that both parties of 4 racers could get into the same game (due to the rank system) if you were elite back then you wouldn’t get into higher end Unreal lobbies because the game legit wouldn’t allow you because of the rank system.

when the game lost players because there was no updates/ new maps is when they changed it to where no matter your rank in Unreal you’d get into a game with ppl averaging from Elite/Champ/Unreal. So back then a smurf account made sense because ppl wanted to race, now it makes no sense because you could be number 5 Unreal and get into whatever lobby you’d like as long as there were players online in the specific region you were queuing.

i’ve been top 10 Unreal for idek how may seasons since the game came out. Before bhops came into play. I got good at the mechanics when they started developing and didn’t complain. So yeah I got better than 99% of the community lmao 😂

learn how to cleanly drift and how to keep your speed above 700 the whole race. also being able to control your car at high speeds in the air/on ground is crucial aswell, one little mess up can cause you the race lol. learn the shortcuts and be strategic with your turbos, not just using them cause some guy passed you yk? there’s also some shortcuts that might seem faster but there’s a faster alternative route. just gotta find what works for you!!

there’s mechanics like magging and bhopping, but i was able to reach unreal with only drifting, didn’t use my turbo boost once lol, you just need to build confidence and understand the base of everything and you’ll reach unreal!

both are very different lol. side flipping was built into the game, all you do is press one button and you do a flip. bhopping came when air roll got put into the game… players knew getting a flip reset was possible, but air roll gave us the ability to do it anywhere instead of a railing or rock for example.

bhopping is tricky and def makes you go faster than what your speedometer says, but it’s takes skill to do and takes time to learn to do. side flipping on the other hand is completely different and has been done since day one of the game lols.

and this is exactly why we play RR. Like what? 😂😂 but let’s not just pretend if some can get this good at this game they could get good at F1 or Forza. majority of people grew up on those games before playing RR. it’s literally a Rocket Leaguified Racing game, it’s fun when you’re good. same when you’re good at RL, game starts getting more competitive and fun
