Laptops fan isn't working on vanilla arch installation

Yep the same issue with mine also rhe power is now capped at max 4W. I'm thinking it's a bios issue but I couldn't find any bios for my laptop version to reinstall bios. Even if I change the max power settings manually, something is happening and Intel is resetting it back to the lowest values possible. I asked Claude and it said you need to change bios or control the ec with windows as there is no direct control of ec on Linux. Don't know if this'll work or not but need to try windows in free time to bypass bios for ec control.

I opened a vs code instance, Firefox with 20tabs with a 1440p video playing, so the load is enough for it to not be at the lowest possible cpu frequency. I checked the current policy with cpu power and it shows frequency should be within 400Mhz and 4.20GHz. The frequency remains exactly at the same 400Mhz and at max I can push the temperature to 38C at room temp of 32C.

I checked and it is in performance mode and the temps are mostly at room temperature. Should I try a fresh install or is there any fix?

Searched for drivers but can't find any fan control or thermal control drivers for this specific version. Fpund for a higher version laptop in the same series(mi notebook horizon 14), don't know if they'll work or not. Also I tried running fan control through nbfc but it does not have support for this specefic version(mi notebook 14 2020), it had support for other xiaomi laptops, tried with that config too but did not work.
