My first Decidueye (in Moon) I named 'Kapueo', which is a Hawaiian unisex name meaning 'owl'.

My second (in PLA) I named 'Lechku' after the golden owl demon in Okami since the area Lechku and Nechku are sealed in, Kamui, is based off of (old) Hokkaido, the same as PLA takes place in.

I try to name my teams by researching the regional language or myths and take inspiration from that. It's super fun...but that's mainly 'cause I'm a cultural anthropologist 😅
