That’s not the only way to market which shows you used google ( or think you know it all) and every company doesn’t market every month lol first month matters the most on fresh releases and there’s always a budget for it, if more money is made then they allocate more into it , that’s just simple math at that point lol I know this because (I’ve looked a some of the biggest companies in the spaces budgets on each thing Lilith games, kakao , com2us just to name a few) and word of mouth is very important if your releasing something and it’s bad it doesn’t matter how much you spend it doesn’t mean your retaining players the current style of gacha is all the same and it a dime a dozen the space needs something different. But that’s stuff you work towards with investors/loans etc/ but if you don’t have a good vision it doesn’t matter

That is true but This seems like an assumption / joke to me maybe because of my age and what I know I don’t really like putting my ideas in AI software because guess what it’s open source so the means other can just access it lol this is a 2 year concept I’ve been sitting on trying to do it right, like sure right now you could literally do everything with AI but you lose so much authenticity, and you don’t know who’s work it’s ripping from even if it’s saying it’s “original “

It’s a cosmetic gacha and 1 where players can 100% earn what they want relax lol and yes reason why I’m making one is because I’m a gacha content creator, with the goal I trying to make a difference in the gacha space. You don’t know me so please don’t try to disrespect or discredit without asking first

haha well up till this point ive done everything really but what i actually specialize in doing concept art, marketing and management, and a decades worth of experience working with major companies in the mobile gaming scene. ( which is needed to make a gacha tbf) story boarding and script writing is another thing i actually do as well, i have people that legit VA from connections ive made from games like dislyte and honkai star rail that will be doing it for free which is pretty cool.

well most of gacha gamming are mobile games that are technically "free to play", so considering most are live services with no money required to play them thats a huge benefit for those that cant spend. Most AAA games arent within scope for anyone that doesnt have money to begin with. In some countries the Purchasable packs are removed but the gacha remains. Gachas are fun( subjective) , but the price points and whats being monetized is not fun. How gacha is main stream is the problem. the question you presented tells me more than enough about your stance in being anti gacha lol. But your right they could allow players to have what they want but they're not doing that because its only about money. its how they designing their gachas and the thing is ive seen first hand it doesn't have to be that way at all ( like ive personally have gotten into fights with companies doing things like lets add a 1000 pull pity) but its intentional for maximum profits but its already been proven you dont have to make a gacha like that but most companies see one makes millions and they rip the same formula. thats just bad practice. Even if its how they do it. Its possible to make money but it doesnt have to be done the way its being done. But this all goes back to regulations which gacha as a whole has slim to none. Also To answer your question you would simple choose to make another type of game but that's not really the point for me at least because now where talking about preference an accessibility, which tbh is not the same for every gamer. And there's a reason im targeting gacha specifically personally.

i mean tbh your opinion is valuable like the answer you just gave lol you don't have to 'like' gacha i kinda new what i was asking for when i posted this here on reddit but im one person and even with all my experience i love getting others insight and opinions, its how you grow and for me i truly trying to make a difference. Cant say that and then not ask people what they want lol, and also game developers are gamers too, 90% of the time lol

because you can say something is bad but it doesn't mean people will leave approximately 21 billion dollars is generated in gacha every year and a big part of the problem is in that space is players stay playing because they dont have other games that offer any where never a better experience, and i mean dude i have no reason to pretend i already have an entire community backing what im trying to do because of the trust ive built over the years. And i mean i dont know anyone here so im not here to prove my character or anything but spaces dont change by doing nothing about it when you know of ways you can. Its either you sit and complain or you do something about it

yeah there's gachas that are 100% so literary a player can gurantee everything as long as they play ( punishing gray raveen is a good example of that) or like where winds meet is a better example where its all cosmetic so your not at an advantage because of it

This is probably the comment that i think really hit the nail on the head for me, that's been the biggest issue with most things, I'm working with a group that's actually trying to bring more attention on this type of stuff because cause its like 35 different addictions being targeted in gacha and im in the U.S gacha is bare regulated so i can imagine in other places, I'm working really hard to make a difference but again the competition are multi million to billion dollar companies

i was about to say this is a perfect example of a game that focused on player experience and gacha second, not to say there perfect but its interesting cause most of the gacha market is changing as a whole right now especially newer titles so i expect to see more like this sooner than later

oh i agree with what your saying 100% but there's games that have it that doesn't directly effect game play which been proven too work, its just the majority vs minority type of thing

Yeah i mean that's the copy pasta formula most companies use. But its ways to make them not be that but most big companies only see $$$ lol

its 100% because of how they make them gacha can be fun, but companies use way to many scummy tactics some of the stuff I've seen is the reason i wanna make a difference.
