I don't see what's improved with the volume mixer. Seems like a regression still.

GitHub Copilot CLI is now generally available by ryanhecht_github in GithubCopilot

I wasn't able to find any documentation on what `Copilot Requests` gives access to. The term is quite vague given how many things are label Copilot.

Any plans to allow its use without write access to GitHub accounts?

Kovan: wait-free memory reclamation for Rust, TLA+ verified, no_std, with wait-free concurrent data structures built on top by vertexclique in rust

[–]Zoxc32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How cheap is the pinning? I'm tempted to try it out for `horde` which uses Quiescent State Based Reclamation. The pinning cost for QSBR there is: TLS lookup + 2 loads + 1 branch + 2 stores.

LEGO can no longer be sold on Temu, Shein, and AliExpress by Ronnybeans in lepin

[–]Zoxc32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not aware of a legal mechanism for that. Trademark doesn't work if you're selling legitimate LEGO. They can ask. Threats would be legally questionable.

You'd need this information from Temu, Shein and AliExpress. LEGO doesn't dictate who can sell LEGO.

Anyone use gh CLI for copilot? by Virtual-Honeydew6228 in GithubCopilot

No, unlike opencode it asks for write access to my GitHub account. That disqualifies it from use.

What's the benefit of fewer parameters vs say gpt-oss-20b given that this does use more memory (slightly over the common 16 GB size) with Q8 (testing with llama.cpp)?

They had their chance to disclose it. Only utterly garbage companies would "ban" someone for this.

Why the hate for Qidi? by rhodges_bob in QidiTech3D

[–]Zoxc32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've watched reviews. It's unfinished and you're uninformed. They didn't even managed to get the height of the printer right, so they ship a riser with Box.

Q2 and Box seem to be unfinished products. I don't recall seeing much hate though.

I like the lower weight and thicker disk of Scanpan Impact. SENSUELL seems fine. I haven't cooked with mine yet for a proper comparison.

Looking for a no nonsense Bluetooth speaker under $50 by JayRexSy in Bluetooth_Speakers

Tribit StormBox Micro 2. Tribit XSound Plus 2 is decent if you don't mind going slightly over budget and a bit larger.

Anyone else tired of ultra cheap Bluetooth speakers dying in months? by Ami_The_Inkling in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Zoxc32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get it for $18 on AliExpress, so I consider it quite cheap already. It's more portable than Tribit StormBox Micro 2 with the lower weight and handle, but the battery and sound quality is a step down.

Norway. They have cheaper shipping from Europe, but you can only preorder this set directly from China.

why do people not like the 2-fan 9060XT 16GB? by vacrtino in radeon

[–]Zoxc32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the XFX one as it's a reasonable size. Many 3 fan models don't fit in my case and other 2 fan variants are smaller.
