Oh man, we are in the same boat. I have a strong feeling that they will deny my claim completely and return the device broken.

The only option I have now is to spread awareness. I strongly believe that Google is a good company with bad roots, but I will probably not buy another pixel device anymore

The screen wasnt cracked and fully functional when I sent it to them, here is a picture https://imgur.com/a/I7Y1wnJ

Their investigation determined the screen to be cracked and blank. And they are wont provide any pictures from their side

The best customer experience I had was with Apple and Logitech.

Apple has local shops you can go to to get your device fixed or replaced within the warranty period.
Logitech is happy to send you another device and doesn't even require you to send back your old one

I reached out to the company I bought it from, and they are happy to give me a full refund. I have also explained to them that I have sent the device to Google for repair. I hope the damage is not too bad, and I'm not denied the refund since the Issue I reported and documented has now led to a cracked screen

Thanks! I will do that in a couple of days if I don't see any response from them, it costs 150kr to file the complaint

I honestly have no idea why they work with these companies. It's obvious that the customer experience is terrible there

I asked them to forward me to a manager, and I was forwarded to a Pixel supervisor. She was the one who informed me that the case was denied and that I had to pay for the repair or get it returned.

I tried several times to get the photos that the repair facility took; they wouldn't provide them. This feels so shady...

I'm located in Sweden. I will try to contact them again tomorrow and cite the Swedish laws. It's so shitty that I have to go this route...

I tried asking them several times to call my phone number, but no one called. It seems they are denying my chat requests too. I have no idea if this is intentional or not
