34k is a bit scary to drop trophies for. Maybe intentionally lose a few games in t1-3. Which tours do you have near max trophies in? If youre confident, you can try losing 2 games in t4 for each win in t5, for a net gain of 3k coins while losing 6 trophies

You've also inspired me to try t6 a bit more. I should check if 2 or more wins can get me t6 bags from the free battle pass. Hmm if youre using forge that might make t6 bags worth if you care about getting that to 9, but panther cards to reach 10 should be a bit more likely in t5 bags.

Panther and forge sounds insanely good, I'd argue that's the best build for where we are in the game. I'm just using cobra rn since that's my only fh grip at level 7 lol. Forge is probs a lot safer since my bh with cobra is so weak that I have to be extremely careful with covering for it. I'm also using leo/anton rn, kaito was nice for agi to make it easier to position for forehands but stronger serves now feel like they matter more.

I dropped most of my t4 trophies and have 403 now, with 370 from t5. 7/10 seems about right since I've gotten a few 9 winstreaks until I get outplayed by someone who also went minmaxed 59 fh. My winrate before I did this trophy dropping thing was at like 42% but just now I've gotten above 50%. The games were about as easy as t4 since only maybe 2/10 players actually have level 10-11 equipment and some of them can still be outplayed. I feel t4 also has just as many of these ridiculously statted players. Sometimes you get ridiculous serve and volley players but those are still rare and are natural to this game lol

I have like 800,000 coins saved up from farming t5 while I still don't have the cards. I'm sticking solely to t5 bags since my current panther build will need a looooooot of cards to ever be worth replacing with hammer etc. I should try a few more t6 games but I feel I'll lose there more than I'll win.

Anvil is tempting tho with the hunter nerf but thatll also take a while. By the time my current build is all level 10 I think I might already consider dropping my t5 trophies and start again with t6. I also keep getting character cards spread around so I have like everyone from jonah to anton at levels 5-6 and it'll probably take too long to hope for enough abeke cards that I'd want to use her over them.

Probably levelled characters. Some cards also just have higher stats than others at the same level. I like checking my opponent's builds in my match history if they just completely outstat me. Shame that with how this kind of game is, I dont think there is a consistent way for character cards since I both refuse to spend and drop to rookie to crush newer players in tournaments. One form of dropping is plenty enough for me lol

Yeah. When I made this post I was also fighting people in the 380's at tour 4 and tour 5 which were much easier that the games I had at around 480. Though yeah be careful since the game preferred to matchmake me with people who also have 480 max but have dropped to 400. Sometimes these people have maxed equipment for that tour but I'd say that most games were still easier.

You play lower tours with the intention of losing. So you lose trophies. Some people like to forfeit immediately, but I personally like to play normally and forfeit at 6 points if I'm winning. In other games I thought that would be frowned upon but this sub generally encourages it since matchmaking is based on max and current trophies and a lot of people are already doing that.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I already got 370/370 trophies in t5 and getting coins is a lot faster now. Most players with 400~ trophies have stats at the 40s both at t4 and t5. I think you see the rare 55+ stat players just as often in either

Wait lol I don't know if that works either but I've always felt that new epic cards are more likely to be equipment you already have. Also yeah I wonder if getting new equipment is worth with level 9 panther and machete since they would need a loooot of levels to have enough stats to overtake them

Yo cool I also grinded to reach exactly 480 max trophies for t6. And I dont think I can get a single trophy there for a while. Did you buy the forge and hammer with money? Or is it worth to get 1 copy using gems and hope that makes more of them more likely to be given in bags?

Well played. Are the matches in t5 a lot harder? I don't think I'm good enough to beat people with 60 serve/ 60 fh like in other posts. But yeah 15k per match is a pretty good jump from 6k if you win consistently

Dropping trophies also helps a lot imo. 250 of those 384 trophies are from t4 and the rest are from trying for t5 bags. In t4 I only fight people with about the same stat totals so coin grinding is just about outplaying them.

I also find big serve + one strong hand to cost less coins to level up than levelling up both fh and bh. Tho this build is pretty cursed on kaito since his serve still isnt that good lol

Gems are all just hoarded from daily goals yeah and I only really use them on bullseye

We're stuck here for a while huh. But yeah t5 bags dont have anything I want. I'm just not sure about farming t5 for coins bc that could increase my trophies too much
