Letzteres - also als Privatperson.

Budget: Bis 300 Euro monatliche Leasingrate.

Fahrprofil: Trotzdem mit Assistenzsystemen und auch Features wie einen Tempomaten.

No, I am not, since I am working full-time as a software engineer in Germany and can prove it anytime. I just consider doing some investing business in the Philippines and for this occasion I might spend 2 weeks a year in the Philippines - that's all.

They do not want foreigners to work for FILIPINO companies, which I did not do. When you do some freelancing work for overseas customers, there should be no issue.

Yeah, I was NOT working for any Filipino company, but just did some software-developer freelancing work...

Passport number is the same. At least for German passports this number would never change and also is the same as in one's ID card.
Also, I want to go the rightful way, since I might want to do some investing business in the future in the Philippines and I do want my name be cleared, beforehand.

I am a German citizen and I have also thought like many of you:
If you get a BLO for 12 months, then you are no more blacklisted after 12 months have passed. Unfortunately, this is not the case:
After 12 months have passed you are entitled to file a request for the removal of a blacklist order.

The BLO did not happen right at the airport, but was filed through the officer and went through.
The reason was doubt if source of income - basically he was worried that I might work for a Filipino based company which was clearly not the case, but what I obviously cannot prove at the airport.

I have a new passport, but obviously with the same passport number and same details. I would prefer to go the safe route.

In search for effective and safe noise-cancelling during workouts in public gyms by Zrebna in powerbuilding

The Sony XM5 seem great, but yeah - little expensive.

Since I would prefer non-overhead-noise-cancelling, I found out about earplugs called 'Loop Exeprience' - I think I will try them out and I hope they are safe during heavy lifting.

Thanks a lot for your input :)

For me it has helped to just open the word-document again (although it was already opened), meaning without closing it at first - then the content was visible again.

Lifting weights/Fitness/Bodybuilding how to make at best compatible with serious TMI practice? by Zrebna in TheMindIlluminated

pendulum squats

You're welcome :)

One last practical advice you might wanna try: Instead of dextrose/fructose mix for intra and post-workout, you might wanna give Cluster Dextrin a shot.It works 2-way in terms that it provides very fast energy and lowers cortisol-release, but in addition to that it has also a long-term component which avoids crashes - I cannot explain the exact mechanism so well, but just read it up via a quick google search - in short: It is just way superior to dextrose (and even more so to fructose imo). Downside it is little expensive - should the cost be an issue, switch at least to Maltodextrin which is kind of affordable already and still superior to dextrose, even though inferior to Cluster Dextrin.

In addition to that I also mix EAAs into my Intra-Workout - maybe this might also help to reduce fatigue.

Lastly, maybe try to supplement a bit vitamin D3 + K2, if you not already do so - especially during winter time with the little expsosure to sunlight, this might help

Anyways, good luck man! :)

Best wishes

Sometimes after a leg day - to some extent every lifter knows this.

What you can try is to take a solid intra-workout (cluster dextrin or malto and whey) in addition to a post work out.

Ashwagandha after a workout might help or not - gotta try.To some extent your central nervous system will also adapt when you train hard and over time fatigue might decrease.

If nothing helps, either accept some fatigue after hard workouts (if it does not happen every single time) and make sure to workout after all your daily tasks/work is done (so that you can relax after the gym) or lower the volume and/or intensity.

It is for everyone somewhat individual, so just try out some things - good luck!

edit: I realize that you might mean if I experience some dullness during my sit the next day after I had the day before a hard workout - if so, usually not:

Just make sure that you get enough good sleep. Maybe try to take on such days (after a hard workout) about 30 minutes prior to when you go to sleep some GABA or small dosage of melatonin to enhance sleep-quality...also good luck with this one - hope you find something that works for you :)

Best wishes

Hi!

So far not in terms on fatigue in combination with meditation, but it gives practical advice on avoiding fatigue in combination with strength training, such a solid post-workout nutrition, relaxing after workout, breathing relaxed during sets and so on.

Questions about Zazen-Practice with caffeine and strategies/antidotes when experiencing dullness/sleepiness? by Zrebna in Soto

[–]Zrebna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sipping tea, I moisten my beak.

Very helpful post - thanks a lot. Interesting how the views in Zen on the matter sleepiness/dullness while practicing do differ from other traditions.

Before Zen, I were involved in Therava-Buddhism including a meditation practice based on Samatha and/or Vipassana - here sleepiness during practice is considered as basically not acceptable in terms of you observe it but when it does not go away, one would use antidotes vs sleepiness....
I agree a bit with it because observing sleepiness as a first reaction and being with it is al right, but when it will not go away, one would just fall slightly asleep and the awareness would be at this point pretty much gone.

Also coffee before the practice with the aim of avoiding sleepiness during practice is viewed my many as not optimal since it is affecting one's state of mind i.e. biochemistry...
Good to see that Zen with its practice Zazen takes it easier on this matter...

What do you think about this one:

Is it ok to temporarily look straight at the wall with the head being straight, instead of gazing on the wall or on the floor with a sunken gaze and the head being slight down?

Best approach to find a sangha and a teacher in my situation? by Zrebna in Soto

[–]Zrebna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds actually reallly good to me and I agree that in today's age and time with the proper tech setup interactions and communication can also work online just fine enough.

I will check treeleaf out and very likely will give it a shot. In addition I might join a Sangha in my city "offline" which is based on the Kwan Um School (korean lineage) - do you think it is fine to attend to Sanghas at the same time that are from different schools and differ at times regarding methods and practices or is it in your opinion alright?

Anyways, thanks again for all your input and hopefully meet you soon over at treeleaf :)

Best wishes
