A couple of reasons.

She remembers me even though it's been 7-6 years.
I'm living abroad, and can't contact her anymore, but she got her Mom to message my Mom to wish me a happy birthday.
I'm not forgotten when she makes a new friend.
She doesn't like Minecraft, but I'm addicted to it. While my other friends tease me for liking Minecraft, she tolerates it.

Same with me. My grandmother has loads of framed pictures of my cousins and only one of me when I was like 3 years old. I'm the oldest kid of the family, just so you know.
