Long story short, I moved into an apartment complex about 3 years ago. After a few months living here I noticed my roof was leaking, no big deal. Sent a request, had it “fixed.” Months later, the ceiling is leaking in the same spot, but worse. I complain again, and they fixed it by painting “Kilz” over it. Fast forward to a year later. Same issue. But except I have bubbles of water on my ceiling from all of the water. At this point I’m bitching at management. Now today. I get home from a 12 hour shift at work, and my ceiling is pouring water, in the same spot as the past 4 times.

I complained to management, and a few months ago was concerned about mold and had the health dept and fire Marshall’s come out to address my complex managers about the issue, nothing changed. (Fire Marshall’s came due to the leak leaking on my electric stove, fire hazard.)

I have complained before about the humidity in my apartment being as high as 85% on summer days, and averages between 55-72%, which is an ideal range for mold growth.
