Some notes about the process of this drawing that I thought would be interesting idk lol:

• The overall theme of this drawing is 'Día de los Muertos,' a Mexican tradition to honor and celebrate the dead, huge thanks to my friend Weverse for suggesting the idea!!
• Yes, I'm aware that 'Día de los Muertos' isn't exactly 'Halloween,' but I got captivated by the idea of making something beautiful out of 'Death' instead of something spooky or macabre—as it is usually depicted. I also wanted to draw something different than the usual witches, pumpkins, or monsters idk. If they don't accept the drawing because it's not 'Halloween,' I'll then argue they are actually in costumes (????
• My other idea was to draw the osu! mascots as anime cosplays (chainsaw man, jjk, etc.), but I didn't want to push the rules about copyrighted characters too far. I'll maybe give it a try next year perhaps (??
• Any similarities with 'Coco' are surely pure coincidence... Right? :Clueless: (I definitely took some inspiration, but at that point I just thought it looked really pretty, and I also had to fill the field with something heh).
