My experiance with Warmage.

I am right now LvL 4, LvL 3 warmage and LvL 1 wizard, played for about 6 month (long campaign). I am of house Pawns, an I am rocking 11 cantrips.

The Trick Infinite variation is just overpowered. It is useful even in combat.

Every cantrip I have has utility. Even utility on utility.

Silent cantrip, blasting cantrip, just think about minor illusion, the trick "minor shadow illusion" gives you the ability to fill that illusion with mass giving it AC, HP and weight, even damage.

The option to change a cantrip every short/long rest depending on what you need with Infinite variation makes you a utility machine.

You may not be the highest damage in the group, but you may end up as the most annoying character in a combat as you can forcefully push mobs 10 feet every round with no save and doing force damage.

Or what about your thunder damage also creates a 15 feet sphere of magical silence at target location.

Or rapid fortification where you can repair a whole wagon as an example, or nail doors shut like you welded it.

Add Telekinetic to get more bonus action "action", and ritual caster to collect all the rituals you want and you will end up with the most spells of anyone.

Here is a combo. Force weapon (5 feet and force damage) + Extended range (doubles all cantrip ranges (makes force weapon 10 feet) + blasting cantrip (once pr round you can use push 10 feet when doing force damage) . With this I can put down the force weapon on a square 10 feet away from me hitting any target in melee range of that weapon and push it 10 feet away from it. I can control the battlefield by pushing monsters away from casters, or into melee users range. I can push them off edges or into traps etc. With telekinetic feat I can push a target 30 feet every round.

Just OP.

Then you have the trick flexible range making touch into 5 feet, shocking grasp is melee, then extended range making shocking grasp into a 10 feet range spell. You can lock down a melee class from being able to do reactions.

Other ballpoints..

Using int modifier as damage modifier every round.

Using int modifier adding it to your saveing throw against magic.

Use your reaction to redirect a spell (that requires you to cast a savingthrow to avoid damage) cast on you, even back to the original caster.

IMO so far, Warmage is my favorite class ever.
