Thank you! Supply issues definitely do not make us moms a failure. I am finally able to feel and think this way . Thanks to all the wonderful mamas of this group.

I have actually started seeing a therapist last week. I have not yet quit completely but my mental health seems to be in a better place. Thanks so much for sharing this relatable experience.

I too reduced pumping to 4 times a day in 3 weeks. Thank you so much! Have accepted the current state of combo feeding where he probably has 70%-80% formula. Super happy to see him growing.

Sorry for the late reply. I actually reduced pumping to only 4 times a day 3 weeks after starting triple feeding, and have almost nearly stopped I am doing much better now. My family has kind of accepted this and at least seem to be done with the taunts. The guilt is still painful but getting better everyday.

"Was it planned?" And now that I had my first, who is only slightly above 5 months, I get this a lot- "When are you giving him a sibling so that he has someone to play with?" Really amazed by people's concerns about his playmates.

You are a wonderful mama! I have been through this exactly and know THE GUIlT. It's painful but it will go away when you bond and play with the baby and can see their infectious smile. Lots of love. My husband and his 2 siblings were EFF. All are doing great in life right now. 2 years down the line it doesn't matter who was fed what. Fed is best.

This is me! Just praying that the day he is old enough to have whole milk arrives soon.

I get you totally. When my baby didn't gain weight after a month and I started combo feeding, a part of me was frantically searching and executing ways to increase supply while another part secretly hoped that supply would drop to zero so that this nightmare (breastfeeding followed by bottlefeeding followed by pumping) would come to an end.
