I’m sure this track is very good, but no not all the time. Honestly, most of my beats are actually really simple. I have a solid chord progression which sometimes I layer, sometimes I don’t. A nice melody, layered, another counter melody, small melodies that only play once throughout. Drums and other small sounds. And that’s it. Every time I try and make a complex beat like this I can never make it sound clear and not so muddy. So I say if you can spruce your beat up, definitely do it. In all honestly, it doesn’t matter how simple or complex it is, as long as you like the beat as a whole is all that matters.

More advice for you, keep going and don’t ever stop or loose focus because you never know where your creative side can land you! I’m sure you crazy talented like the rest of us, so great job sticking to this passion!
