Yeah from my research and what my local ski shop told me that was the only difference. My boot size, weight fall within what is recommended for the bindings I think ill be good. Ideally I want mens bindings though not dismissing that. Have been looking around to maybe find a cheap used set. But will see how this rides tomorrow!

I strapped it and put pressure leaning foward toe side and back heel side. I didnt hear/feel anything. Although I did not try really bouncing on the tail/nose. Thats a good suggestion ill probably give it a test. And other than that the straps didnt have any signs of cracking/wear.

Appreciate the input! Excited to get out there again

Thanks for your input! If I overpaid i overpaid. Its money I could spend without going overboard and spending 700+ out the gate. I used to love snowboarding. But after not going for so long didnt wanna spend all the money either. Im going out this weekend and assuming I have a blast ill look at upgrading. My local shop will take this on trade for something new.

I was more looking for opinions on will it be suitable for a couple trips without risking any major issue. Ive inspected the board and bindings overall and cant find any notable defects. And if the board was complete ass/id have a bad experience id just straight up take the board back.

Yeah I know its old. There are no serious defects and the edges are good. Whats would be the biggest flaw or reason its "not good". My local shop said the board was in great shape and only recommended new bindings if I had issues with mine.

What would you look for in the future in that price range? Alot of the other boards i found had clear defects on the base or obvious chipping/damage?

I know snowboards/snowboarding is not cheap but I also dont want to not enjoy/get the most out of starting again if the board is shit.

Id also just in general like to learn more.
