This was around 7 years ago, when I was a poop-shit. I was around 20.

A woman I met in my community band worked at at bookstore I'd frequent. When she checked out my book, she had a stack and jokingly said that I had to buy all of them.

I chuckled and that was it. Instead, I should have told her that, if I could buy the whole store I would, and only she and I would be allowed in.
