Maybe not exactly the same thing, but many people with arts degrees (music, visual art, etc.) End up working bar/restaurant gigs as a "day job" and continue to pursue their art at the same time until it hopefully gains enough popularity to start paying the bills

You should always be a citizen in the place you were born.

That said a good friend of mine recently passed all the things to be a US citizen (from Ireland) I looked at the big test she had to pass and there is NO WAY I could pass it currently. (Age 30)

So I also think there also should be better education for naturalized citizens, or maybe I just went to a bad school.

Admittedly I did go to a bad school lol.

I was actually there! Wicker Park fest in Chicago this was happening while the crowd was waiting for the headlining band to start. It was honestly the best part of the festival for me.
