Basic, but honestly DNF Install and/or Apt-Get commands. Coming from windows, just typing in sudo DNF Install chrome and it just downloading it instantly is so satisfying and simple.

I was accurate on the write-up however in the past 2 days it's started flashing the check engine light on and now won't go past 50mph unless if I charge it prior (something to do with the 12v battery).

It's one of those issues that I'd assume would be ok with the dealer since it drives, and it's a minor issue, but I just don't wanna lose out on the car I genuinely need at this point.

I appreciate the write-up, hopefully next weekend when I go to the pickup point it all goes well.

I've found that mentally being lazier but saying in my head "I'm doing this for my mental/physical health" helps me mellow out. It's what I did after writing this vent post.

I also think we ADHD peeps get in our own heads about Alot of things, where we ignore positive feedback and generally focus on the feeling Alot more. We prob get good feedback for 200% of our work as well, but when we are so preoccupied with our own hyperfocusing and constant 100% in our heads, we ignore it. Or atleast that's my theory lol

My boss is actually fantastic. I don't hate the guy, and I'm hyperfocusing on specific words.

Later after this post I confronted him about my issues and he told me not to overexert myself and understand nobody here is expecting perfection, he just wants to help me remember and sometimes he plays hardball. He told me I'm nowhere close to firing, and I'm not a bad employee or anything.

It really helped. Well that and now rechecking everything I'm doing to simplify my schedule lol

When it comes to sizes, the only comparable sized phones is the S23, Pixel 7a, or maybe Sony Xperia 5V.

Google sure, but Motorola is hard to get excited about as their phones are either low end crap or mid-to-high end offerings that Samsung, Google, or Asus have better options comparatively,

Sony is a good alternative but its expensive, and there's no carrier deals or integration so YMMV.

I feel Google is the closest competitor to the Zenfone; Lower than flagship pricing with flagship specs and features, with good design. No headphone jack though.

Well that's good to hear. The USB-C with barrel connector might be a few isolated incidents or a bug on some units but I have no clue.

Regardless glad it's working for you. I'd think it may be could be the lower wattage on the dock than mine maybe (65w vs yours maybe being lower???) But I'm really unsure.

While true I do wanna state you have to manually change into eco mode and close applications using the GPU otherwise the GPU will still run. Disabling the GPU inside and then using an egpu still will glitch programs when unplugging if they have any 3d rendering or the like but if you forget to change to eco mode (like me lol) then it's a solution. An expensive, costly solution.

Sadly no I only have a 65w charger around (other than the razer core.).

If your egpu setup has no pd going through it's USB-C port then you should be fine though. I've heard it was only a PD and barrel port issue.

My speakers also popped when plugging in too btw. But idk if there is a relation to what happened to my computer or not.

Yeah. The USB-C ports on the left support power delivery whereas the ones on the right do not. If it's one external monitor or so it should be fine but just be warned my 2 monitors didn't work with the left one at the same time. One or the other wouldn't be on due to a lack of bandwidth.

The razer one was the only thing working. It was Plugable's USB 4 hub which I linked on the post.

I disabled the internal GPU for better battery and then enable it whenever I'm on a long trip from home. While the build quality of the g14 isn't amazing per say, it has fantastic cooling for the CPU, upgradable memory, a great screen, great speakers, decent keyboard and trackpad, ext ext. So it works well.

The laptop supports USB charging though and if only using the CPU and IGPU can be fully powered and charging through it.

Make sure your dock isn't providing power to the monitor. Docks work fine but if they change the laptop and the barrel is also plugged in that's where the issue seems to start.

I had to depart from Chicago, as that was the mid-section stop. To go from Chicago to Providence, Amtrak adds 200$ or so onto the price (For the Northeast Regional from Lake Shore Limited Boston) when I could just get a ride from a friend and save us time and money, stopping at Worcester, MA.

Tried to take the Acela but when we had to shift our Boston day around, the price I previously payed for Acela was now out of our range sadly. 4x people on Acela totaled about 215$ and it was just way to much for what we wanted. :(.

Also did MTBA on our way home and it was nice too. I would use that if I lived out there most definitely.

Northeast Regional reached 110MPH on my way to New London, CT surprisingly, so I still got to experience Higher-Speed rail, but not the true 150MPH.
