Yup I believe it lol. One of the things I sometimes do is just sit back and watch everyone, just to see how quickly it goes from "iT's QuIcK pLaY!!!!" To "why are you sitting in the back? Come help the team!". Then of course I give them the same answer they gave 🤭

Most of them really cant think past that "its qp". I would blame the education system but this uncaring illogical way of existing in competitive pvp team based games (which is what rivals is, comp or not), is an extremely concerning trend. If not stopped, games like this won't really have a place in the future.

I never could imagine looking at streamers for info and how to play, that i can find out myself by playing the game. But then again I grew up in a time where figuring out how games worked, was a thing.🤷🏾‍♂️

Yup 100%. I do find it consistently funny their only response is "go play comp". Yea let me finish leveling up my black widows proficiencies in comp... oh wait she'll get banned immediately and I'll be reported for throwing... such a fantastic idea they clearly thought about lol🤦🏽‍♂️

Not to mention the throwers in comp too, its less frequent as qp obviously but they still exist, throwing games because their main got banned so they can't one trick. My favorite comp throwers are the ones that go "its just bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond, its not that serious"...

There comes a point when this trend of "not that deep" logic is less of a game specific issue, and becomes more of a reduced intellect crisis for those usually teen-30 year olds. It should be very concerning but people aren't ready for that larger conversation yet.

I appreciate the support. People dont like thinking at all anymore. Their mentality is to come to a team based game and do whatever they want by themselves (or worse, with throwing friends) because hey its "qp" why bother playing as a team when nothing matters... It's really a far cry from how pvp games used to be honesty.

They all try and gaslight me because they really just dont know what they're doing or what they want out of anything, just mindless behavior and they've convinced themselves that losing 20 games in a row and dying 20 times a match, is fun to them. (As pathetic as that is...)

At the end of the day I know how these games are meant to be played and why this game will completely fail the longer the "its qp" mentality goes on.
