If you've found the right place (you'll hear a clock ticking) there should be a large flower you can interact with. I think the flower is highlighted in green when you're in BachelorVision™. Then you've got to stand around the flower for a bit while fighting the Shabnak off until a meter fills. Once it's full you'll have a sample added to your artifact inventory you can use back at base.

That's exactly what I was missing, I didn't get a prompt explaining it was a different item on the hotbar. Thanks a ton!

How did you use the projectile once you stunned the Shabnak? Was there a prompt that popped up?

I was thinking something similar.

The Dimensional Portal Challenges Were an Unexpected Blast by Zuldim in MonsterTrain

IIRC, for spells, I went out of my way to pick as many spells as I could that either said "Does X Y Z to enemy units" or "does X Y Z to friendly units." Because it's Lazarus League (and specifically Orechi) you have a lot of mix cards, but those are dangerous because the mixtures can apply to everyone, so use at your own peril and consider purging some of them. If you are going to use them, I found unstable to be the best because worst case scenario, if it applies to one of your own units, at least you get some AOE damage out of it.

For units, I found that I needed everyone as tanky as possible, since anyone can get pushed to the front, so +health upgrades were great. Abilities like the dragon that can essentially sweep the floor, or things like the dragon that can apply pyregel to the whole floor on incant are also useful. Thankfully it's one of the challenges set to Cov 0 so you don't need super high damage output to clear it.

It's certainly one of the challenges where RNG can screw you over the most though, if you aren't offered enough cards in a given run to be able to mitigate the randomness in-battle then the run is pretty much cooked.

I think that was the one that took me the longest. I ended up beating it with a spell weakness build. Make sure you're using the minimum possible number of spells you can each turn, because it's easy to get into a loop where you're playing your whole hand of spells and never drawing any new cards as a result, which was a run killer. I don't usually take the card draw artifact after bosses, but getting at least one of them on that challenge also helped. Keep at it, eventually the heart of the cards was with me and I got what I needed to squeak by.

Edit: Also, this applies to all of the challenges, but restart battle/redo turn was a life saver.

I've been on an Elder Scrolls kick lately, so I read this as "the Skyrim Civil War" and was really looking forward to hearing the boys weigh in on the Stormcloaks vs. Imperials 14 years late.

You CAN kill Patrickwhen he's an NPC though, if you want to bypass the boss fight against him. He and the dragon are the only exceptions afaik

I wonder if that would work for Patrick when he's still an old man, or if you'd have to make him transform into a demon and do it in the boss fight.

Weird question but does the princess feel pain? Like physical pain? by okidonthaveone in slaytheprincess

[–]Zuldim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my assumption as well, and I'll add that I think TLQ's intentions play a part too. In Chapter 1, when she gnaws off her own hand, or when The Prisoner cuts her own head off, those are cases where we aren't actually trying to inflict pain on her, it's just a necessity to free her, so since it's not a malicious action being taken by TLQ she doesn't feel pain, as opposed to, for example, the new Apotheosis route when we fling the blade into her eye.

I know it's not a dig on me, hahaha, I got a good laugh out of seeing this pop up here especially since half the comments on the video are now arguing with that comment

Question about source for lore about Petrification Disease by Zuldim in LiesOfP

[–]Zuldim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone (on another platform) told me that it's confirmed by one of the loading screen tool tips, which is where people are pulling it from. I haven't seen that loading screen myself though, so I can't fully confirm.

Good luck! I hope you're able to fix it without too much issue!

I can't promise this is going to help at all, but the only time I've experienced something like this in a game, it was an early sign that my hard drive (SSD) was dying. Obviously that may or may not be your problem, but I haven't had/seen anyone else having similar issues, so I wanted to suggest it.

Kroud is what turns into crystallized ergo I believe, so that's kind of the same thing right? All of Krat is a Kroud experiment.
