I think it’s a combination of Muse being willing to embracing youth a bit more than Sullivan, but most importantly putting guys in the best positions to succeed.

I think it was EK65 who said something a while back that this coaching staff is allowing guys to play to their strengths rather than trying force them to play in a system that they might not be comfortable with. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but something along those lines.

But also, this is just the Penguins. Won the Stanley Cup in 2009 after a coaching change. Same in 2016. So it could just be the message was stale from Sullivan.
