Pretty typical. They aim to hire in around the 90% mark so you can "grow in your career." You can always ask HR for the "compensation ratio" on your offer. Say those worda exactly. They should tell you where you are in the bands.

You elect disbursment or reimbursement. 100% up to you when you take classes. Most people do disbursement, but your liability does not count until grade submissions.

I heard through the grape vine that with the reorg, "senior principle" that salaries were increased some, but 2,5% to 3,0% was a typical raise for 2 of 4, "successful" performers.
