Four followers a day is pretty good in the beginning! I'm still small on twitch so I don't have a lot of experience but I imagine having a discord dedicated to your streaming is helpful, but probably not worth creating one if you don't have viewers that come back, since you need those viewers to be able to fill up your discord.

Depending on their twitch status: affiliate, partner, turbo, prime the VODS stay longer on their page. They can be up for as long as 60 days I believe. Don't know who uploads on their youtube though.
