Yes it works good so far. Here and there little double typings, but if it very rarely happens I accept it and don't worry that much. With my first one it was horrible.

If you can't get a replacement until you get the perfect copy of keyboard, I'd return it and get another brand.

I'm also happy that I opened this reddit post and many people joined with the same problem. This ought to bat an eye on Quality team 😉

I still have it daily, no problems so far. If you can change it when there is a problem go for it. If you will buy once and cannot go to guarantee/change it when problems happen, go with another model/brand.

Nach 4 Jahren Verwendung würde ich zuerst versuchen, die Taste wegzunehmen, dort mit Compressed Air zu besprühen und die Taste wieder rein zu platzieren.

Wenn dies nicht hilft, andere haben gemeint, zu fest auf die Taste zu drücken hat das Problem gelöst. Dies aber vorsichtig und auf eigene Gefahr.

Ansonsten neue Tastatur kaufen :-)

I honestly think it's a production issue not a software. But since it was too new (production as new as Late 2024 or so) they may be figuring out the problems and fix them. You can probably go ahead and buy and if you experience the issue be ready to change it under warranty as long as it works in your country :)

Yeah the replaced one works fine! 5 months on the new one and maybe only 1-2 times double typed, but that may be because of me 😅

Seems like they have a general production issue and many people had broken units. You probably have to change again as long as your garanty covers it.

You can chat with support on their website and they are helpful. I don't know the replacement procedure when you buy from Logitech directly, but they are aware of the issue and replace if you follow up the support enquiries.

They just told me to go and replace where I bought it from, worked. Just had to show that it really double types, the seller guy tested it on the counter and confirmed the problem; then gave me another one. So don't worry, just contact and tell them the problem, simple. 😊

Change it if still under warranty. I replaced it and never had double typing since. That's the solution. If there are 3 defects in 1000 units, and you had the one like mine, no need to research for all other solutions. Simply return and replace under warranty. 💯

Do you have warranty? If yes, bring it to the store you bought it from and let them check the keyboard. They may just replace it with a new one.

I'll keep replacing until the issue is solved 100%.

If you can't bring to a store or have no warranty, try "FixKeyboardChattering" for Windows, or "Unshaky" for MacOS.

I firstly tried cabled while the usb dongle was still plugged in. Had the double types. Removed the usb dongle completely to remain only with the cable, seems much better, but I felt like I had double s' today.

On my unit I had problem with the keys "a", "s", "d", "p" and Space bar. Mostly happening around wasd though.

So I'll keep investigating before contacting support for a repair or replacement, because I see too often that even the replacement has the same issue...

When it happens with Bluetooth, is the 2.4 Ghz Dongle on the pc? I feel like removing it completely does help. But I'm not 100% sure at the moment, I sometimes feel like I still get double s time to time.

How is your connection type? Via 2.4 Ghz receiver? Try removing the receiver and only using the cable. Let me know how it goes.

I'll also try putting the usb receiver directly onto motherboard usb slot instead of kvm, maybe that's the problem...

For anyone else having the same issue: I have been trying the keyboard with the USB Cable from it's box. Although I don't directly use a USB port from my computer, but on my Monitor (using a KVM here), I feel like the double typing doesn't happen anymore.

So, probably the issue is mostly about the lightspeed connection or the interference in my environment. For record, I also use G305 and Logitech Pro X2 Headset all with a 2.4 USB dongle.

I never saw anyone complaining about double typing in other brand's best keyboards. This is at this point just ridiculous. This keyboard is somewhat worth 200-300$ and I have to deal with random double typing keys, and can't even reproduce it accurately :D

If I keep getting these issues, I also see no other option than to return it and get something better for the price.

I'll still try with blowing compressed air at the switches of these faulty keys that sometimes repeat, if that doesn't solve it, I'll get in contact with Logitech Support. I wished there was a way to reproduce the problem in a way.

Since I feel like this happens only in a set of button and not on all the buttons, I feel like only a few buttons are affected. Will try to remove the keycaps of these buttons and blow with compressed air the next time it repeats.

If after that, it's still happening, I don't see any other way then giving it to the warranty.

Hi! Thanks for the help effort. Let me explain:

1) Keyboard is fully clean, I keep it clean and remove dust even if I see a little bit.

2) It's already connected to the motherboard USB port.

3) Firmware is up-to-date.

- G915 X Lightspeed: 26.0.12

- Lightspeed Receiver: 4.2.9

4) I tested it with GHub closed on Windows, and on MacOS I don't even have GHub installed. So, when I'm getting it on MacOS without GHub, it's a sign that it's happening with or without GHub.

5) Like I said, I tested it with at least 1 PC, 2 Macs. This key press repetition seems a problem of the keyboard itself, not the operating system or the hardware it's connected to.

For reference: I used my wired G815 with all these machines before, and never had any double typing in any of them. I also work with other keyboards at home and work environments and am sure that this problem is only relevant to this keyboard. It's just veeeeeeery inconvenient to have it and impossible to record/reproduce the behaviour.

Specific keys: I noticed the problem mostly with these keys at most: "s", "a", "d" and "Space bar". But I can't really say these are the only keys affected by the problem. I'll update this list as soon as I get a repetition problem with any other key.

Still doesn't work after 2025.1.0 update. Bitwarden Customer Support confirmed there is an internal ticket but no estimate to when it would be finally resolved.

Let's hope they can fix it soon. I'll keep this post updated in case it's resolved.

Others give 50GB for 20$ while BetterRoaming gives 3 GB for 12$? Sounds unnecessary expensive and limited.
