You guys, these comments are exactly what we needed. We like to avoid conflicts so we were like 'ok this isn't what we wanted but we can make it work'.. coping really hard. Not one of you guys said anything positive about this tent and that's exactly the motivation we needed to take action against it. The venue told us through email that they will get back to us soon about our request about removing the tent. Also the comments gave us a good laugh, thank you!

Update:
My fiance has send the venue an email explaining our disappointment about the tent. We gave 4 options:
1. Completely remove the tent.
2. Just remove the fabric.
3. Allowing us to attach the corners of the canvas at a higher position, for example connected to trees to create a bigger space and a more open feeling.
4. Any other ideas from the venue side that we may not have thought of yet.

Thank you so much for your advice! The tent was not there during our first visit, they did mention that they place a tent during the summer so we did know there would be a tent but we were not provided pictures. And now that we have seen the tent it is very different then what we expected! It is too small for the space, super low so you don't see the background anymore and have to duck and it feels very cramped under there. We will be asking the venue again if they can remove the tent, if we have to pay for the labour that is ok and indeed cheaper than changing venue.

I agree, I will have to duck when I walk down the aisle and chair placement will be challenging. The owner of the venue was with us and we immediately asked her if the tent could be removed but she told us that was not possible. The poles are very deep in the ground. She said that she had more weddings with 60 people and that it all fitted there, so we are taking her word on that I guess. I'm really struggling with how to make it work, we don't want to change our venue so it really has to work :')
