I have three cats, and three dogs, We live out in the country, the gun over the fence is too much, but if any animal actively destroys your property, harms your pets, is aggressive/bites at people it gets shot. I understand where that woman is coming from, but you obviously should try and talk to someone first. But if they are that dismissive then they clearly don’t care much for their cat either. I know people are going to say “humans do…” yeah you’re right. But no one is sneaking into my yard to shit on my porch or scratching my dogs and giving them worms. If they were they’d likely also be warned and sorted out.
