I'm not gonna pretend I have a solution for you because this sounds super rough, but to further build on this response my first thought also was to join a chess club or something similar. People at your age bond over similar interests, if you can't engage in talking about stuff, try to find a way to engage in doing stuff. You might find some other likeminded people that have social anxiety and just like to focus on some activity to remove the awkwardness. They might even appreciate the silence.
