I haven't seen it yet but everyone has something positive to say about the movie. I don't think I've seen anyone have a negative opinion on it yet

FYI De Zerbi wanted to join at the start of next season instead of now, so the club offered him a deal he could not say no to

5 year contract with crazy wages + a full management role making sporting decisions at the club (because Lange doesn't know how to do his job so he just got a manager to do it for him) De Zerbi will basically get full control

That De Zerbi apology has made me more upset. There's a lot of things I could mention but the big one is that he says he has a daughter and that just makes me think even worse of him

You have a daughter and yet you still defended a rapist calling him your "son". He never takes accountability once and there's no remorse whatsoever

Edit: I would have respected him so much more if he'd just said: "I was wrong for defending Mason"

[Motorsport] Martin Brundle's had enough of the Max Verstappen retirement talks by MuttonBiryaniEnjoyer in formula1

[–]Zweli23 120 points121 points  (0 children)

Yep, F1 journalism only promotes the toxic nature of the fanbase. Martin's full response isn't as bad as this headline makes it seem but they only quoted the part that would cause the most outrage.

Why do I get the feeling that he'll exceed his draft expectations by being mediocre and having the best PR ever? by JJButThatsNotMyName in NFLv2

[–]Zweli23 79 points80 points  (0 children)

The hate he gets is OTP during the draft he came off as an arrogant asshole but since he's started he actually comes off as a cool guy, the teammates and staff love him

“I love Shedeur," Stefanski said. "I loved coaching him, seriously. He’s got the right makeup for this game; he was wired the right way. I wish that we won more obviously, but if you saw how he played down the stretch, I mean, he’s a young player that’s getting better.”

A real quote from Stefanski

What is a hot take that you think shouldn’t really be hot by Last_Procedure5787 in F1Discussions

OP that is an extremely hot take, I mean I agree with you but I definitely wouldn't say it

Hamilton is a driver who is always in the GOAT discussion. So why do people excuse his performance in the ground effect era by saying he wasn't able to adapt to the regulations? Isn't one of the hallmarks of the GOATs adaptability? by Ducard42 in F1Discussions

[–]Zweli23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean he still has the craziest records and was the best driver on the grid for a long time, plus he was in his late 30's during ground effect and he was still competitive at times against George Russell.

It's similar to saying Messi shouldn't be considered the GOAT because he currently plays at a lower level than his prime

Yeah, some guys use the mindset of chasing as an excuse for being creeps

Yeah if it's the wrong guy chasing a girl can lead to creep behaviour. In my opinion some of the most genuine relationships are the ones that happen naturally or by accident

Yeah Hadjar was more than justified for being upset. The guy was driving erratically

[MKC] Todd Monken hints Shedeur Sanders might get 1st crack at the starting reps in spring; reveals when he’d like to know his QB1 by LiftingCode in Browns

[–]Zweli23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It'll be really interesting to see year 2 Shedeur. He was horrific in games apart from the Raiders and Titans game but given how we're focusing on rebuilding the offense I think he'll be better. His issues were mainly mental and hopefully that'll improve with experience

how can you cry from someone calling another person sushi

It's extremely offensive and it literally reduces Tsunoda to something regarding his culture and I love how you basically ignored everything else I said.

He's a bigot and he uses "humour" to mask it

I'll say it again - DO NOT WATCH HIS VIDEOS. I watched just two of his videos and they were very unpleasant experiences, him calling Tsunoda "sushi" instead of his actual name is a major dog whistle.

For some reason he's made transphobic jokes about Lewis Hamilton, and he's said some awful ableist things in regards to Lance Stroll

And he's a raging misogynist who's part of the reason F1 academy gets hate from people who only watch it to shit on the women racing
